Viewers and Hostees for and,

On January 1st the server my domain sits on died. Not long after this happened, my domain host decided he no longer wished to host the type of accounts my domain uses and abruptly told us to get lost. This is the short version of what has happened.

With the server dying, and my domain host backing up his customers' files incorrectly, we have lost some information. Thankfully, for hostees using a MySQL Database, i have a backup from December 23rd so you will hopefully have lost very little. Any additions to your database after December 23rd are unfortunately lost. Hostees whose blogs were run without MySQL, i'm afraid you've lost that content. The best I can do for you is email you a google cache saved of your site for you to harvest blog entries. :(

I am working as quickly as possible to replace what i can. Amber and I have teamed up and now work with a more reliable host that has been in business since 1999. It will take some time to get everything in order, so please be patient.

Since all contact with hostees was done through my domain email address, i have lost some of your email addresses. If you have not recieved an email from me on this situation, please send me an email here. If you would like your hosting account back, please include your username and the password you would like for your account. Any additional information you feel I should know should also be included in this email. If you have chosen to move your site elsewhere, I understand your reasons for doing so, and if there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we all work to get our websites and weblives back in order.
